Gastritis diet: what to eat, about menus and recipes

What is gastritis

The important way to fight gastritis is through diet therapy. A mild meal menu helps reduce stomach pressure and prevents inflammation of the stomach wall. The exact list of foods that can and cannot be eaten depends on the type of disease and its course characteristics.

How to eat with gastritis?

Due to the low acidity of gastric juice, the diet for gastritis is very important. It excludes mechanical irritation to the diseased mucosa and stimulates secretion, which is called Table 2.

There are desserts for stomach problems on the diet table. The list of permitted sweets includes: jam, marshmallow, jelly, souffle, pudding, unleavened bread. If you can tolerate it, you can pamper yourself with condensed milk or a scoop of homemade ice cream.

Which gastritis should be excluded from the diet?

  • Excess fat-fried food, soup, lard, smoked meat;
  • Crude fiber-raw vegetables, beans, bran, nuts;
  • Spices-mustard, ketchup, horseradish, pepper, garlic and onion;
  • High salt content-sausages, canned foods, homemade products, marinades;
  • Pastry-baked goods, puff pastry, any freshly made bread.

Due to digestive difficulties, you should not eat fatty meat and fish and some grains (cereals, corn, barley, pearl barley).

Soft drinks, kvass, alcohol, strong tea and coffee are harmful to drinks with upset stomach. It is forbidden to use boiled eggs for any type of gastritis.

For dairy products, it is recommended not to consume yogurt, kefir, or whey when the acidity is high. A small amount of sour cream and cream are used for flavoring. The menu does not include spicy and salty cheeses.

What can you eat when gastritis worsens

If you have acute gastritis, you will usually have an empty stomach on the first day, but you should not refuse to eat after 12-24 hours. In the first week, the main consumption is liquid food: mashed potato soup, water gruel (oatmeal, rice).

In the 3-4 days aggravated gastritis diet, you can choose the following menu:

  • jelly;
  • Omelet;
  • Mashed potatoes;
  • Curd souffle.

When it becomes easier and the severe stomach upset disappears, you can eat steamed meatballs and cutlets, white bread crackers, boiled slices of lean meat and fish, and crackers. After about 2 weeks, arrange meals according to the principles of No. 1 or No. 2 diet.

Approximate menu of the day

Menu for gastro-gastritis
  1. First breakfast: 1 poached egg or 3-4 quail eggs, a portion of oatmeal (if acceptable, can be eaten with raisins), oiled toast, a cup of1-2 tablespoons cream tea.
  2. The second breakfast: a few biscuits, a cup of thick apple jelly.
  3. Lunch: a bowl of vegetable soup, the second bowl-fish cakes with rice porridge, with dried fruit preserves.
  4. Afternoon snack: baked apples stuffed with cheese, a cup of cocoa.
  5. Dinner: 2 Greeks, with minced meat (steamed), some mashed potatoes, a piece of bread, a cup of lemon tea.
  6. Before going to bed: a cup of kefir that is not cold (for gastritis with increased stomach acid, please use warm milk instead).

The diet for gastritis is roughly based on this menu. However, if there are no symptoms of discomfort, separate inspections are required.

Discomfort or heaviness after eating cannot be ignored. It is worthwhile to reduce the portion size, modify the diet or prepare individual dishes.

A week's gastritis menu

For the gastritis diet, choose a recipe that can gently process the food. Boil and steam meat, fish and vegetables. Can be baked, but not crusty. Most likely, this nutrition will take more than a week. Diet can reduce the pressure on the stomach and help it recover.

Monday:

A week's menu for gastritis
  • 1 breakfast: milk buckwheat porridge, eggs, eggs, eggs, eggs, eggs, eggs and eggs.
  • 2 Breakfast: 2-3 steamed cheesecake, a cup of fruit preserves.

  • Afternoon snack: milk jelly, 3-4 croutons.
  • Dinner: Greek minced meat (steam), 100 grams of carrot puree and a cup of light tea.
  • Evening: Vitamin broth of a wild rose, and some unleavened bread.

Wednesday:

  • 1 breakfast: a hard boiled egg, a part of semolina, buttered toast and a piece of cheese (mild and salt-free), plus milk tea.
  • 2 Breakfast: a baked apple (if the stomach acidity is high, choose sweet varieties), a cup of cocoa.
  • Lunch: rice soup, 2 fish steamed cakes, a piece of dry white bread, rose jelly.
  • Afternoon snack: Zucchini and carrot casserole (covered with foil in the oven to prevent frying).
  • Dinner: a small portion of mashed potatoes, steamed egg custard (you can use this recipe to cook in a slow cooker).
  • Evening: a glass of kefir or milk.

Thursday:

  • 1 breakfast: steamed omelet, milk porridge with noodles, part of cocoa powder.
  • The second breakfast: buckwheat jelly.
  • Lunch: Tonga slices of hake, zucchini stewed in sour cream, 3 croutons.
  • Afternoon snack: curd souffle, fruit preserves.
  • Dinner: Risotto with pumpkin and chicken, two slices of dry white bread, jelly, a cup of light tea.
  • Evening: Rose hip soup.

Friday:

  • 1 breakfast: oatmeal, hard-boiled eggs, 2 parts of butter plus toast, plus milk tea.
  • The second breakfast: baked apples and cheese, cocoa.
  • Lunch: potato soup, 200 grams of steamed beef souffle (can be eaten with white sauce), carrot puree, dried fruit preserves.
  • Afternoon snack: rose jelly, some cookies.
  • Dinner: steamed sea bass dumplings, rice porridge, jelly.
  • Evening: A glass of kefir.

Saturday:

Recipe for gastritis
  • 1 breakfast: a plate of buckwheat porridge, a part of jelly, toast, a cup of tea with cream.
  • The second breakfast: 150-200 grams of sweet potato kefir.
  • Lunch: vegetable soup, 2 fish cakes and rice, a piece of white bread, jelly.
  • Afternoon snack: cocoa, steamed egg rolls.
  • Dinner: 200g potato casserole with minced meat, beet salad and vegetable oil, jelly (for gastritis with high gastric acidity, for example, use milk instead).
  • Evening: a cup of rosehip broth, 3 biscuits.

Sunday:

  • 1 breakfast: semolina, poached egg, toast, cocoa.
  • 2 breakfasts: a sea fish.
  • Lunch: pumpkin puree soup, meatballs and mashed potatoes, a slice of toast, and preserves.
  • Afternoon snack: rosehip broth and a few biscuits.
  • Dinner: noodles with cheese (can be eaten with jam), cream tea and some dry biscuits.
  • Evening: A glass of non-acidic kefir.

Above is the approximate weekly menu for patients with stomach inflammation. Any gastritis diet should be agreed with the attending gastroenterologist. Taking into account the individual tolerability of certain products, the patient's allergic reaction and other diseases in memory.

Several weight loss recipes

Steamed fish steak.

For gastritis, dietary recipes include the use of lean fish. It is useful to eat hake, cod, and pollock at least 2-3 times a week. You can buy ready-made fish fillets. Otherwise, you need to cut the carcass of the fish.

  • 200g fish fillets;
  • 50 grams of white bread pulp;
  • 3 tablespoons of milk;
  • 1 egg white;
  • 15 grams of butter;
  • Minimize salt.

Stir the pulp soaked in milk into the fish fillets. Salt cubes, roll twice in a meat grinder. Add protein to the minced meat and mix well. Form small pies and steam. Pour the melted butter on the plate before serving.

Omelet.

Quail eggs can replace the eggs in fried eggs. They are considered very useful and the results are more refined.

  • 10 quail eggs;
  • 3-4 tablespoons of milk;
  • 2 teaspoons of flour;
  • A pinch of salt;
  • Vegetable oil (used to oil the mold).

Stir several times, then mix the eggs. Add all other ingredients (except oil) to it. Many gastritis recipes allow the use of chopped green vegetables, so you can sprinkle dill to smell it. Whisk the ingredients lightly, pour into the fat and cook in a steam bath.

Baked apples and cheese.

Food choices for gastritis

This recipe is even suitable for patients with acute gastritis. If you get sick, especially in the first few weeks, the list of permitted fruits is very small. Usually, these are roasted bananas and apples. Desserts are easy to digest and contain pectin to improve digestibility.

  • 3-4 apples;
  • 100 grams of low-fat cheese;
  • 1 egg yolk;
  • 2 tablespoons of powdered sugar;
  • 10 grams of starch.

Wash the fruit, cut into a "lid" form and cut the top. Use a small spoon to gently circle the seeds and some pulp. The wall length of the apple must be at least 1 cm.

In the filling mixer, mix the cheese with powdered sugar, egg yolk and starch. If available, add vanilla sugar. Tightly "stuff" the apples into the sweet dough, and then put them in the mold on the side. In the oven opened at 200 degrees in advance, the dessert must be placed for 20-25 minutes. Pour a little water on the bottom of the baking tray to make the baked apples tender.
